Sharing more photos from our Irvington project! This project was photographed by @joeinstakramm recently featured in @westchestermagazine and created for and with @annienathan .

This project involved a complete renovation of all spaces in the home (kitchen, baths, living and sleeping spaces) as well as furniture selection and styling/décor.

The homeowners are a family of 4 with two young children.   They were introduced to me by a previous client, this homeowner’s sister.  They wanted the space to be designed in a way that felt timeless, yet clean and contemporary.  They were heavily involved in the design and renovation process.  We worked with a blend of neutral hues as well as many shades of blue to achieve this look.  We went with high contrast and crisp color and pattern selection. We chose family friendly finishes that will stand the test of time.

The previous design was luxurious but very traditional. We think we have achieved a design that works well with the bones of the home but feels fresh.

The powder room in the first image was nominated for the @westchesterhome design awards. We changed the scale of the wallpaper, by @jillmalek, to ensure it worked well in the space and worked closely with them and the installer to ensure the patterns moved seamlessly from wall to wall.

Why do I love these door levers?

The finish looks weathered and dimensional. The knurled (textured) part not only provides extra grip, but ensures a fingerprint free situation. Found via Pinterest. Source unknown.

I have this thing for personification…. but make it interior design. The Astral table lamp collection by @clemence_birot winks at you from across the room.

This pendant by @rollandhill is basically a modern classic to me at this point.
